Professional Stain Removal

We Specialise in removal and colour correction of most permanent stains

Why Professional Stain Removal?

We have great success at treating and removing stains if we are called before you try to fix it yourself.

What to do before we arrive.

Beverage stain

  1. Blot with a clean dry towel.
  2. Flush with a little water and blot dry

Do not rub or pour any other products onto the stain as this can make it impossible to remove.

Food stain

  1. Remove or scrap up as much of the food as possible working towards the centre of the stain.
  2. Pour a little water only on the stain and blot with a clean dry towel.

What to do with a feces (poop) stain.

  • If stools are formed, pick them up with a paper towel.
  • If not then use an old dust pan and gently scrap the feces onto it without pushing or brushing it into the carpet.
  • If there is any residual mess and it has stained the carpet, call us and we will remove the stain and sanitize the area for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, you don’t need to be present while we clean. Many clients feel perfectly comfortable leaving our technicians unattended while they work or run errands. Usually, clients will meet our cleaning technicians when they arrive, but they can also arrange to leave a key in a designated spot or have a neighbour, friend or relative give entry to the cleaners.

Our technicians do not move any large furniture items when they do a carpet clean.

Should you require furniture removal this will either need to be arranged prior to our arrival or we can provide a quote for this service.

Steam cleaning or Hot Water Extraction is the preferred method of carpet cleaning as recommended by most carpet manufactures.

It goes without saying that a great cleaning company will do whatever it takes to get the job done right. Cleaning times depend on the ease of set-up, stains, soil levels, furniture moving and more. Generally you should allow 2-3 hours depending on the area to be cleaned.

Hot Water Extraction is the #1 preferred cleaning method by carpet manufacturers. The hot water ensures that the carpet fibres and thoroughly flushed out to remove any residual cleaning products, dirt, grime and soiling. Carpets are left to dry within a few hours depending weather conditions.

There is a difference between staining and soiling. Our advance carpet clean will remove surface dirt, grime and general soiling.  Should your carpet require additional specialised stain removal our technician will advise and quote this on the day of service.

Professional carpet cleaners have access to the latest and most effective cleaning products and solutions available and are trained to use them with caution. The products used in homes are safe for both children and pets when completely dry, but it’s always a good idea to keep them away during the cleaning process. Be sure to keep children and pets away from the vehicle and machinery to minimise the possibility of an accident.

Drying times vary, depending on a number of factors, including the amount of cleaning that is needed, the humidity, carpet thickness, central heating and more. Commercial grade, truck-mounted systems are usually equipped with powerful vacuums that significantly cut down drying times. Most clients report that it their carpets are completely dry within 1 to 2 hours. In general, it’s always a good idea to plan around the 2 hour mark.

Regular vacuuming is one of the best maintenance activities you can do on your own. Most vacuuming, however, is done to quickly and even the best household vacuums can’t be as effective when you move to fast. Give your vacuum time to lift the carpet pile, agitate it and remove the soils. Most soils are dry and can be removed properly if vacuumed promptly and properly. Spills should be treated as soon as possible to avoid staining. Before leaving your home, your carpet cleaning technicians should recommend the time for your next professional cleaning. Following their suggestion as well as your carpet manufacturer’s requirement should help keep your carpets looking fresh for years.
